Wyatt Miers and Anderson"Babe" Hopkins, told him that Civil War solders were buried here and that a battle was fought nearby.(Lead bullets have been plowed up on the sight.) Thos. Wyatt Miers told his grandson that he had twin brothers buried here. They were named James Polk Miers and Willie Miers. There are some Boswells and Lacewells there also.
