Last Thursday night, Morris Hunt, of this city, who is an inmate of the Farmington hospital No. 4, made his escape. Word was telephoned to Sheriff O'Bannon to look out for him. He was arrested at the Madison house Friday morning by the sheriff and the marshal. He made his escape by breaking a lock and walking away. When arrested here he said he merely came here to collect a large amount of money that was coming to him; that they wanted him to ride over but he rather liked the walk. He escaped about 8 p.m. and was arrested here about 5:30 a.m., having walked from Farmington to this city in that time. He was returned to the asylum. Morris has many friends here who sincerely hope that he may recover his good health. -- Fredericktown Dem.-News.
