ALLEN
I am looking for a Jacob (Jake) Allen who possibly lived in Bollinger County in the mid to late 1800's. He moved to MO. with his brother John W. Allen and a couple of sisters(one married a Keith and the other perhaps a Myers) along with another brother(unknown?) from NC around 1850. John settled in Washington County. Jacob Allen supposedly was paralized in an accident and spent a great deal of his life in a wheel chair. If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

CATO
Lewis, Henry, Richard, Needom, and Sterling came to Wayne County from Christian County, Kentucky in the late 1818 to 1820 era. Wayne County court house burned, so did Bollinger County so we can't connect the first generation CATO's with the next generation. We have names after the 1850 census but can't connect. Second generation are names like Benjamin, Green, Chapman, William Henry, John, Simeon, Starling, and Wilson.
