Elizabeth D. Lane

Elizabeth D. Lane, 80, Shell Knob, Mo., died Tuesday, June 20, 2000, at her home.

Mrs. Lane was born June 14,1920, in Independence. On Aug. 12, 1939, she married Oliver L. Lane in Olathe, Kan. She attended school in Independence, graduating from William Chrisman High School. She was a legal secretary for law firms in the Independence and Kansas City area before moving to Shell Knob in 1974. She was a member of the Shell Knob United Methodist Church, where she helped prepare the church bulletins.

Her survivors include her husband, Oliver L. Lane of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, William and Linda Lane, Blue Springs; two sisters, Minnie Licciardone, Old Forge, Pa., and Helen Rohman, Joplin, Mo.; and one granddaughter, Shelley R. Lane.

Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Friday at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Springfield, Mo. Arrangements are under the direction of the Williamson Funeral Home, Shell Knob.
