Notes for Hannah McClure

Some family trees give a marriage date of 15 Apr 1783, but there is a marriage record on Ancestry.com ("Virginia Select Marriages 1785-1940") for David Worley and Hannah Mcclure on 17 Feb 1784 in Botetourt County, VA. Since their first child was born in January 1784, the 1783 date seems more likely, but on the other hand the actual marriage record should be correct. It would be good to see the actual marriage record; it's always possible that Ancestry made a mistake.

Her year of death is very uncertain. Various family trees have 1800, 1829, and 1835. The one I am using here (1835) is from https://www.ancestry.com/family-tree/person/tree/29974361/person/27113598793/facts , which cites a Find A Grave entry (for Hannah McClure Worley). The Find A Grave entry does not have a place of burial, bur rather says "Cremated, Location of ashes is unknown". Several trees on Ancestry.com give her date of death as 7 Jun 1829, which is same as her husband's. Maybe she really did die at the same time as her husband, but this seems suspicious.
