Notes for Mary Ann Mansfield

Middle name (Ann) comes from a posting to the Reeves-L mailing list by Joan Reeves, 17 Dec 1999 (https://lists.rootsweb.com/hyperkitty/th/read/REEVES/1999-12/0945481155). Other sources only had initial (A). Bob Reeves listed her as Mary M. Mansfield.

A chart by H.F. Hunter Jr. in the Katherine Gentry Bushman Papers, 1961-1997 (Accession 35743, Personal Papers Collection, The Library of Virginia, Richmond, VA) gives her birth date as 12 Mar 1783, but that seems much too old. I wonder if it is a typo and should be 1793? The chart lists her parents as Reuben Mansfield and Sarah Jefferson.
