Capt. John Bailey d. 29 July 1813
Captain John was an officer in the Revolutionary War; a bronze NSDAR plaque has been placed on his grave. Captain John and his wife Ann came to Woolwich from Weymouth, MA before 1761.
Ann (Memoy) his wife d. 17 Jan 1828
Eunice Bailey (daughter of Jesse Bailey, son of Capt. John) might also be buried there. Records show she was b. 16 Nov. 1801, d. 4 Jul 1822, yet her name does not appear on any other cemetery records. Her parents, Jesse and Eunice Gould Bailey, are buried at Grover's Cemetery. NOTE: It is not known who else is buried in this very small cemetery plot.
