Dead River Plantation, Somerset County, Maine bounds: Flagstaff, 3R4 BKP WKR, Carrying Place, Jerusalem, Wyman, North Half 4R3 BKP WKR. Previous designation 3 R3 BKP WKR. Dead River Township is north-northwest of Skowhegan. It was disorganized 5 March 1951, by Chapter 19 of the P & S Laws of 1951. This plantation was overflowed by the creation of the Central Maine Power Co., Dam. Population:
