I am trying to find more information on Robert Shelton of Woodford County, KY.  He was born around 1770, probably in Culpepper County, VA and was the son of Reuben Shelton and Priscilla Medley.  He married Alpha Vawter in Culpepper County.  Around 1796 he left Virginia with his brother Medley Shelton for Scott County, Kentucky and ultimately settled in Woodford County.  His known children so far are Col. Medley Shelton, who married Malinda Wilhoit and Robert Shelton, Jr.  I would like to find out if he had any other children and when and where he died.
Thanks

I am researching Medley Shelton, his wife, Elizabeth Ward and their descendants.  Medley was from Culpepper County, Virginia and served in the Rev. War.  He left Va. for Scott County, Ky in 1796 and then went to Gallatin County, Ky in 1810.  He died in Carroll County, Ky in 1839.  The children of Medley and Elizabeth (Ward) Shelton were; (1) Jacob Ward Shelton, born in 1785, VA, married Mary Tandy.  In 1835 they left Kentucky for Iowa: (2) Mary Shelton, married William Whitehead and Jacob Blessing; (3) Ann Shelton, married Zachariah Bledsoe and George Collins; (4)  John B. Shelton, married Malinda Craig in 1835. He left KY for Iowa and ultimately Missouri; (5) Medley Shelton, Jr., married Nancy Chadwell in 1842, left Kentucky for Missouri. Any info or wish to exchange info would be appreciated.
