John Viemont, born March 15, 1824, his sister, Georgeanna, born 1818, in Georgetown.  Their parents died during the epidemic around 1830.  After the death of their parents the two children were raised by the Solomon Fry family.  His wife Nancy was a sister to the children's mother.  Did Georgeanna marry a ? Hay.  Why was her last name not Veimont?

In 1829, Isaac Newton Cook married Sally/Sarah Jones in Fountain County, Indiana.  Cook, the son of Isaac Cook and Ann Simpson Masterson Cook, was born in Scott County and moved to Fountain County, perhaps only a year earlier.  This makes it possible that Sally Jones was also from Scott County.

I have recently discovered that Newton Payne Thompson married Nancy Wells, February 23, 1864 in Pendleton County, Kentucky.  Sources in the Barton Papers state that Newton was the son of Jarvey or Jarvis Thompson from Scott County.  Jarvey/Jarvis was married three times; his second wife, Sarah Latimer, whom he married on February 14, 1822 in Pendleton County, seems to be the most likely candidate for the mother of Newton Payne Thompson, if in fact, Jarvey/Jarvis is the father.  Any information about the above mentioned people will be greatly appreciated.
