Our Lady of Providence, short for Academy of Norte Dame of Providence. It was renamed in the 60’s or early 70’s. In my mind it was to clarify the distinction between Notre Academy in Covington, and and OLP. I graduated from Notre Dame Academy (NDA) and lived in Ft. Thomas. I passed it every day to go to MDA downtown in my freshman year and on Hilton Drive after that.
