Robert A. Marks

            ROBERT A. MARKS

Was one of the first men to actively engage in business in the city of Oberlin. He at first started a lumber yard, but afterward run a general merchandise store which he sold and went into the banking business and in a few years was reputed to worth $75,000. Unfortunate investments with the complete collapse of real estate prices lost Mr. Marks many thousands of dollars. For the past seven years he has been post master in Oberlin and had made a very accomodating and popular official.
