OBERLIN M. ALLEN

Has the distinction of being the first child born in the city, being born in December 1878. He is a son of Captain Allen and for a number of years has been engaged in business in Colorado Springs, Colo. Obe, as he is known by his friends, was a very popular young man when he resided in Oberlin.
