David O. Banta

Who has been a minister of the Baptist church for more than 30 years and has traveled all over northwest Kansas and is perhaps held in higher esteem than most men, is still a resident of Oberlin, having retired a few years ago from active service. He has ever been active in the cause of his chosen denomination, and is remembered as one of the Christian ministers 30 years ago when the preacher was not as he is today. Reverend Banta has ever been a good friend of the HERALD Editor and is considered as one of his most valued friends.
