10. John Whitley PIPPIN was born on 10 April 1847 in Jackson County, Tennessee.^3,10,52 He died on 4 February 1941 at the age of 93 in Madison County, Missouri.⁵³ He was buried in Jewett Cemtery, Madison County, Missouri.⁵⁴

Between 1870 and 1872, John Mary moved to Missouri when his uncle Kinchen moved back there. They are on the 1876 MO state Census in Madison Co and the 1880 Census. They remained there for the rest of their lives.

My John W. Pippin was born in Jackson County TN April 10, 1847 and Married Mary Pippin Born August 14, 1854.
He died March 4, 1941 and she died May 12, 1936. John was my Dads Great grandfather his Son my great grandfather's name is John Morgon Pippin married to Maude Ruble. Their daughter Sylvia Helen Pippin Married Roscoe Granville Jackson. Their son my dad Roger Jackson married Ruby Beeler and me Annette Jackson married William Reynolds and we have two daughters. We live on the farm he once lived on in Madison County MO. He and Mary are buried across the road a little ways from my house. Along with other Pippins

John Whitley Pippin died in Jewette, Liberty Twp, Madison Co, on 4 Feb 1941 of bronchial pneumonia. His residence was Madison County. He was born 10 April 1847 in Jackson, TN. He was widowed - his wife was Mary Clinton Pippin. He had been a farmer. Father was Andy Pippin, b. SC (not) - his mother's maiden name was Gouldsy (sic - Goolsby), b. TN. Henry Pippin of Jewette was the infomant.

John Whitley PIPPIN and Mary A. CLINTON were married about 1871.⁵³ Mary A. CLINTON was born on 14 August 1854 in Jackson County, Tennessee.⁵³ She died on 12 May 1936 at the age of 81 in Madison County, Missouri.⁵³

John Whitley PIPPIN and Mary A. CLINTON had the following children:

65	iii.	Jackson Lee PIPPIN was born in February 1878 in Missouri. Jack married (1) Lillian Stumbaugh. Lillian died about six months later. He married (2) to Etta Shaver.
66	iv.	William H. PIPPIN was born on 30 June 1880 in Missouri. He died on 6 August 1967 at the age of 87 in Madison County, Missouri. World War I Draft Registration. 12 Sep 1918 William Pippin of Madison Co, MO was 38, born 30 Jun 1880. He was a Farmer. John Pippin was his nearest relative. Medium height, stout build, Blue eyes, Black hair.
