Welcome to the C.C.G.S. of Indiana Website.
Our Chapter was formed to create and build interest in preserving and collecting genealogical and historical records relating to the families that have settled in the Cass County area. We encourage sharing genealogical information with others who may have had family members that settled in Cass County at one time or another. Although we may not have the resources to help people with genealogy outside the Cass County area our members are always willing to share the family information they may have.
In becoming a member of our society you will have the right to vote on issues that concern the running of the society. Being a member also gives you the right to participate with other members in indexing, recording, and preserving records for the future. As a member you can also participate in workshops for the purpose of helping people who are looking for family and family history in our area.
Chapter meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 at the Logansport Public Library,616 East Broadway in Downtown Logansport, IN.
The public is always welcome and invited to attend at no charge. Membership is only $12.00 per Person for annual dues or $18.00 for two members per year.

We currently have Facebook and Twitter accounts. These accounts are a way to bring us into the modern social media age. They are to help people find The Cass County Genealogical Society and to communicate better with us. They are to be used in a professional manor. The material that will be posted on these pages will always be informative and related to genealogy. Please feel free to become a friend to Facebook and Twitter and use them to make your family search a more pleasant experience.
