| John CALCUTT (Calcote) b. VA 1750 served in SC militia during Revolutionary
War, Gen. MARION's Brigade. He is in the 1790 census - Prince George Parish with his wife and sons . I am looking
for his wife's name. His wife may of been a CADE. There is a record in the will of Willis MUDD that the wife of John was
thought to be a CADE. She would of been born before 1770. Between 1797 and 1802 John CALCOTE and family joined
westward migration with a large group of Revolutionary soldiers and their families and friends, CADE, KENNEDY,
MIDDLETON, BUCKLES, GIBSON, JOLLY and KING. John CALCUTT's children were: James, John, L.*, Stephen, Mary, William
Cade, Catherine, ? Male child, Susannah. This child with the L. was born SC, 27 March 1787 and was found as an entry in
Cade L. Kennedy family bible. Thanks. |

Georgetown District (Now County) in 1717 with his wife Elizabeth and settled near what is now Andrews, SC.
Thomas CRIBB is believed to be his brother or son and is believed to have come with John and Elizabeth. |

| Seeking the parents and siblings of the Rev. Richard CRIBB b. abt 1827
d. 22 June 1887. Richard was married to Mary Jane OWENS b. abt 1837 who was the daughter of Eziekial
OWENS and the grand daughter of Pilar and Eleanor (Nelly) OWENS. According to the SC Baptist Convention
Minutes 1887 Memoriam, 'Richard Cribb was for many years the only Baptist minister in Georgetown County, and
was instrumental in planting most of the Churches in that County. This brother was engaged more or less in the
work of the ministry up to the time of his death, which occurred some time during the Conventional Year. His end
was 'peaceful and happy'. Also any other CRIBB information is appreciated. |

1721 and 1738. In 1738 they bought 200 acres in Old Craven County, S.C. on Sampit Creek. When did they arrive
