The history of Center Valley Baptist Church extends from 12 September, 1890, when it was admitted to the Hamilton County Baptist Association until about 1943.

Early church clerks included

C. J. Johnson, 1899

The piano used in this church belonged to Mrs. Nancy Jane "Nan" (Watson) Pearce. After the church disbanded, Mrs. Pearce’s piano was moved to our house so that I could take piano lessons until we could secure another piano.
