Davine Vining Campbell

Davine Vining Campbell, 79, died Monday, December 8, 2014. Graveside services were held in Oaklawn Cemetery in Ft. Valley on Thursday, December 11, 2014.

Davine researched, compiled and edited many historical books for the Central Georgia Genealogical Society and the Macon County Historical Society. Davine along with Guelda Hay and Millie Stewart researched and pulbished many cemetery records and worked tirelessly in saving valuable information for future Taylor County Researchers.

She was a valuable resource for research in Macon County and was active on-line with both the Macon County Mailing List and the Macon County Rootsweb Board. Her numerous obituaries in addition to personal research assistance provided on-line information that will help generations to come. Davine was always active with the Macon County Historical Society.
