(*) please note that these are secondary transcriptions i.e. a transcription of
an earlier transcription and hence there is a second possibility of errors
creeping in. The entries in the Parish Registers are smudged and haphazardly
made. This transcription was made from a copy made in March 1969 by Mrs A.V.B.
Coleman. Note also that marriages were not performed at the church between 1775
and 1874, people being sent to the mother church, St Andrews in Plymouth.
