It happened in [the] town of Mariampol on Mar 26/Apr 7,1863 at 4:00 P.M. appeared in front of civil registrar witnesses Sanel Jankielsohn ,55 and Abram Jankiel Kaplan, age 64 years teacher in Synagogue and residing in Mariampol and they stated that yesterday at 11:00 P.M. died Ita Dyna (two first names) wife of Szymel Szmydt, 30 years of age residing in the town of Mariampol. After the deceased there were left behind the widowed husband Szymel z Abram Szmydt ,blacksmith and home owner ?---? also two children ?---? Rocha and Chana Ry-oka (Having two first names). After being convinced with ones's own eyes about death of Ita Dyna wife of Szymel Szmydt this document was read to the witnesses who presented themselves and was signed by them. After the deceased there were left behind ? namely daughters, Szyna Feiga of the village Gudeli(?), Sora Leja from Nzevzbolowie, Chaja Malka from ?ialwariz, Judela Heibe from Mariampole and also house worth 600 silver rubels. After an eyewitness identification of the death of Isreal z Joel Gottferstejn, this document was read aloud to the ones present and was signed only by Sanel Jacobson; the rest did not know how to write.

It happened in the city of Mariampol on May 21, 1840 at 12:00 came the Orthodox Jew Szewach z Lejzor Altszuler, assistant Rabbi, with a young man Szmujlo z Mortchel Kaplan , blacksmith age 23, living in Maryampol and born in Balwierzyszki of parents Mortchel z Lejzer Kaplan, day laborer in Balwierzyszki, and Gitli z Dawid and with a widow Guta, daughter of Abram wife of Hirsz Szmit, 33 years old from parents Abram z Szaja Szmit and Estry z Icko, day laborer in Maryampol, and in the presensce of witnesses Szymel z Jankiel Festynsztyn ,55 years old and Dawid z Mortchel Markson ,65 years old living in Mariampol, both teachers, stated that on yesterday's day, between Szmujlo z Mortchel Kaplan and Guta z Abram Hirsz Szmidt from Mariampol a religious marriage was contracted which was preceeded by three readings of the banns in the synagogue of Maryampol on the1st,8th and 15th of the current year and month; no objection was made to this marriage. The newlyweds testified
    on this occasion that no premarital agreements were made between them. This document was read to those present and the witnesses and signed by us except for Guty z Abram Hirst Szmidt who did not know how to write.

It happened in the city of Mariampol on Jan 4/16, 1865 at 9:00 A.M. came the Orthodox Jew Sanel Jankeilson, teacher, with a young man, Leib z Mowsa Kraiman, 20 years old born and living in [the] town of Wilkowski, son of Mowsa z Icko(?), peddler and mother -indy z Berko living in Wilkowski and Leya z Szymel Szmidt, maiden 22. living and born in town of Maryampol, daughter of Szymel z Abram, blacksmith and wife Dobry z Izreal. In presence of witnesses Orel Bobinski, dealer 50years old, and Boruch Altmark, blacksmith, 61 living in Mariampol, it was stated that yesterday a religious marriage was contracted between Leib z Mowsa Kraiman from Wilkowski and Leya z Szymel Szmidt, maiden from Maryampol. The marriage was preceed by the announcing of three banns which were posted in the synagogue of Mariampol on [the] 31st of Oct (12th of Nov), 5th (19th) of Nov, and 19th(31st) of Dec. Banns were also posted in Wilkowski. Permission to this marriage from both sides was given. No one opposed this marriage The newlyweds testified on this occasion that no premarital agreements were made between them.     with his family 27 years of age born here in Mariampole from Jeka and Sora z Chaim, married couple, z Izreal Chanas, peddler, deceased, residing here in Mariampole and with Sora Leja z Isreal Gottferstein, maiden, 21 years old from Isreal and Rocha z Abel, married couple, z Joel Gottferstein, peddler, born here and residing in Mariampol still living with her parents and in [the] presence of Leib z Josil Jacobson and brother in law of Jowil Jakow Chanas and Isreal z Joel Gottferstein father of Sora Leja z Isreal Gottferstein; also in the presence of witnesses Orthodox Jew Szymen z Jankiel Festynstein age 59 years and Sanel z Benjomin Jakobson age 40 years, both teachers and residing here in Mariampole, stated that in front them, on yesterday's day between Josil z Icko Chanas and Sora Leja z Isreal Gottferstein a religious marriage was contracted which was preceeded by three reading of the bans on the 4th (16th), 11th (23rd) of Feb, and 18th of Feb (1st of March) of the current year at the synagogue in the town of Mariampol. To this marriage permission was given orally by Leib z Isreal Jacobson and Isreal z Joel Gottferstein who were present and no objection was made to this marriage. The newlyweds testified on this occasion that no premarital agreements were made between them. It happened in [the] town of Mariampol on Mar 26/Apr 7,1863 at 4:00 P.M. appeared in front of civil registrar witnesses Sanel Jankielsohn ,55 and Abram Jankiel Kaplan, age 64 years teacher in Synagogue and residing in Mariampol and they stated that yesterday at 11:00 P.M. died Ita Dyna (two first names) wife of Szymel Szmydt, 30 years of age residing in the town of Mariampol. After the deceased there were left behind the widowed husband Szymel z Abram Szmydt ,blacksmith and home owner ?---? also two children ?---? Rocha and Chana Ry-oka (Having two first names). After being convinced with ones's own eyes about death of Ita Dyna wife of Szymel Szmydt this document was read to the witnesses who presented themselves and was signed by them. Gives Year of Birth as 1833.

S ? ,both deceased, with Pezsa z Isreal Gottferstein, maiden age 28 according to the birth certificate, born and residing in Mariampol, daughter of Isreal z Joel, journeyman, and Rochy z Abel married couple Gottferstein from Mariampole whose mother is deceased and in the presence of father of bride ? newly married ?? earning a living temporarily with share(portion) rich farmer ? parent and witness Szlom Kaplan, baker, age 63 and Boruch Altmark, blacksmith of age 60 years, living in Mariampol; stated that in front of him on yesterday's day a religious marrage was contracted between Schlomo Meyer z Orel Berenstein, young man, from the village of P? and Pesza z Isreal Gottferstein, maiden, from Mariampole. [The] Marriage was preceeded by announcing of three banns on the days of 15th (27th) of February, 22nd Febuary (5th March), 29th Feb (12th March) of the current year in the synagogue in the town of Mariampole and also1st (13th), 8th (20th) 15th (27th) of Febuary of the current year in the synagogue of W? Permission to this marriage from both sides was given; no one opposed the marriage; the newly married couple declared that no premarital agreement was made. This document was read to those present.
