Jackson, Millard Andrew of Austin. Age 93. Died 10/9/1991 (Wed) in an Austin hospital.
Born
12/24/1897. Member of Northwest Baptist Church in Austin. Retired as an attendant at Austin State
School and continued as a volunteer at the school in the Foster Grandparent program. Preceded in death
by his wife Lucille Howe Jackson in 1/1796. Survivors: 3 sisters, Bernice Owen, Thelma Byrum, both
of Austin and Maurine McCoy of Taylor; 18 nieces and nephews.

at Pleasant Retreat Methodist Church. Burial in Pleasant Retreat Cemetery. Rev. Jim Willis, pastor
of the Pleasant Retreat Methodist Church, assisted in the services. Hyltin-Manor Funeral Home of Austin
made the arrangements. She was born 12/2/1990 and reared in the Pleasant Retreat Comm. She still has
a number o relatives and friends living in this area. Survivors: Husband, Millard A. Jackson of Austin;
brother Elwood Howe of Orange; sister, Mrs. Bernice Gambrell of Austin; several nieces and nephews.
