About William Wesley Green:

William Wesley "Bubba" Green 49, of Needville went to join the Lord on Friday, June 15, 2001. He died near Needville.

Services will be 1 p.m. today at Garmany & Carden Chapel, 3103 School St., Needville, with the Rev. Rod Coates officiating. Interment will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Resthaven Memorial Park in Corsicana.

Mr. Green was born Oct. 1, 1952 in Corsicana. He was a 1971 graduate of Corsicana High School. He graduated from Sam Houston State University with a master's degree. He taught agricultural studies at Alvin High School until he went to work for Nutro Products where he worked for many years.

Mr. Green is survived by his wife, Margo Janicek Green of Needville; daughter, Jordan Sarah Green of Needville; parents, Wesley and Lucille Green of Corsicana; sister and brother-in-law, Jan and Pete Ivie of Corsicana; niece and husband, Rheann and Casey Gaston of Corsicana; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
