Jackson, Jesse (Jessie) L of 408 N Loop, Austin. Age 55. Died 12/1947 (Sat) (in paper 12/26/1946) in Brackenridge Hospital of head injuries received late Friday in a head-on automobile collision about 10 miles north of Austin. Services held (Sunday) Burial in Salty Cemetery. He was born in 1890 in Salty Comm where he was reared. Also hurt in the accident was wife, Mrs Jesse Jackson and son, Woodrow Jackson, a student at Larmar College in Beaumont, who was driving the car. Mrs. Woodrow Jackson and Wayne Jackson, another son, were released after reporting to the hospital Friday night.
