About Griffin Lee Hardin:

STINNETT - Services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in Austin for Griffin Hardin, 61, former Stinnett resident who died at his home in Austin Tuesday night. Mr. Hardin was born June 22, 1917 in the Stinnett area.

He graduated from Stinnett High School in 1936. He was a member of Union Creek Masonic Lodge in Austin, and a 32nd degree Mason. He was a member of the Baptist Church and vice president of H.B. Zachary Construction Company in Austin. He had lived in Austin 20 years.

He was preceded in death in 1952 by his mother, Mrs. Sallie Hardin, and in 1945 by a brother, Grady. Survivors include his wife, Adena of the home; two daughters, Sharon of the home and Sue Vowell of Martin, Tenn.; and three step-sisters.
