About Lena Womack:

EILAND, Lena Mrs. Lena Womack Cox Eiland, age 83 of Smyrna, GA passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2009 due to complications of pneumonia. Mrs. Eiland was a member of the Baptist faith and worked as a dental hygienist for over 30 years. She was a very active member of both the Dental Hygienist Society of Georgia and the Georgia Dental Assistants Association for many years, holding various offices in both. She enjoyed her final three years living at DelMar Gardens in Smyrna where she made many friends, served on their Executive board as the Assisted Living Representative, and loved playing cards with "The Gang". Mrs. Eiland was a proud grandmother and will be deeply missed.

Mrs. Eiland was preceded in death by her husband Homer P. Cox and second husband H. Wayne Eiland. She was also preceded in death by her special friend Payton Hill.

She is survived by her daughter Linda Caswell and son-in-law Lyle of Seneca, SC, grandchildren Brian Caswell of Sarasota, FL and Beth Caswell of Alexandria, VA, sister Edna Baker and husband James of Flowery Branch, GA, sisters-in-law Mearle Adkisson, Oeda Allen, Barbara Cox and Reba Chamblee and husband John, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 17, 2009 at 11:00am at the chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home with Dr. Truett Gannon officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home in charge of arrangements
