Archie Lee Eiland, Sr.

VAIDEN -- Funeral services for Archie Lee Eiland, Sr., of Vaiden, were held on Thursday, June 10, 2010, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Roberts and Sons Mortuary with Rev. Jessie Sawyer officiating. Burial followed in Shady Grove Cemetery near Kilmichael. Visitation was held from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. prior to the service.

Mr. Eiland died Saturday, June 5, 2010, at University Medical Center in Jackson of kidney failure.

Roberts and Sons Mortuary of Winona was in charge of the arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Georgia Eiland; his sons, Archie Lee Eiland, Jr. and Larry Eiland; daughters, Debra Eiland, Sharon Mosley, and Karen Smith, all of Chicago, Ill.; brothers, Steve Eiland of Houston, Texas, and Walter Eiland of Vaiden; six grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
