About Howard Nelson Fulcher Sr.:
FULCHER, Howard N. of San Gabriel. Age 78. Died 3/1966 (Monday) in a Taylor hospital following a 2-year
illness. Services held (Wed.) from San Gabriel Baptist Church. Burial in Locklin Cemetery. Rev. Larry
Gilbert officiated and special music by Mrs. James Terry, singing "I Won't Have to Cross Jordan Alone".

Fulcher, son of the late James Henry and Nancy Locklin Fulcher on 9/21/1887 at San Gabriel. Married
Miss Pearl Wilson on 2/17/1907. He was a farmer and lived all his life in the San Gabriel area. Member
of San Gabriel Baptist Church since early manhood. Preceded in death by a daughter, Dorothy Fulcher
and son, J.B. Fulcher who was killed in WW-2; 2 brothers and 1 sister. SURVIVORS: Wife, Pearl of San
Gabriel; 5 daughters, Mrs. Katye Bell Isabel of Corpus Christi, Mrs. Billye Cannon of Housshire, Mrs.
Irene Hester of Ft.Worth, Mrs. Margaret Caffey of Houston; 1 son, Howard Fulcher of Houston and daughter-in-law,
Mrs. Zora Fulcher of Houston; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, E.H. (Pete) Fulcher,
