7/15 in Phillips & Luckey Chapel. Burial in IOOF Cemetery with full military honors conducted by Fort
Hood personnel. Chaplain (Maj.) Gary E. Mayra conducted the service. He was BORN 6/8/1925 in Rockdale
to M/M. John M. Drummond. He was a partner/owner of The Machine Shop in Guam at the time of his death.
Formerly resided in Rockdale. Graduated in 1943 from Rockdale High School and entered WW-2. Also, served
during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Retired from the Navy after 30 years of services on 9/1/1974. Preceded
in death by his father in 1969 and a brother, Dick Drummond, in 1975. SURVIVORS: Mother, Mrs. Lizzie
Drummond of Rockdale; sister, Joy Kenjura of Brenham; God-child, Nietzche Lolan of Agana, Guam; 2 nephews,
Terry Lynn Drummond, Skooter Kenjura of Spring; 2 nieces, Lisa Jo Drummond and Anissa Drummond, both
of Rockdale; great-nephew, Terry Lee Drummond of Rockdale; great-niece, Deanna Drummond of Rockdale;
uncle, Dan Drummond; aunt, Mrs. Joe Brown of Rockdale.

War II from Milam County" Drummond, William Earl Seaman 2/c William Earl Drummond, son of Mr and
Mrs J. M Brummond, Rockdale. Entered Navy in 1943, trained in San Diego, Cal. Served in Saipan, Peleliu,
Leyte, Luzon, and Okinawa. Awarded Amer. Theater Ribbon, Asiatic -Pacific Ribbon with 4 Bronze Stars
and Good Conduct Medal. Discharged in 1945
