David Wilkins May 19, 1935 - Sept. 29, 2006
HEARNE - Services for David Wilkins, 71, of Gause are
set for 3 p.m. Sunday at Gause Baptist Church. Burial will be at Gause Cemetery. Visitation will be
from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Funeral Home in Hearne.
Mr. Wilkins died Friday in Bryan.
Survivors include his mother, Mildred Ely Bowling of Gause; his wife, Lois Wilkins of Gause; a son
and daughter-in-law, J.D. and Rita Wilkins of Evadale; four daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Johnny
Nigliazzo of Hearne, Kay and Steve Rachui and Diana and Robert Choates, all of La Porte, and Jennifer
and Ronnie Choates of Canyon Lake; a sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Alfred Coats of Gause; 12
grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Lois Eiland Wilkins
was born March 20, 1935 to Calvin and Freda Eiland in the Gay Hill Community. She attended Gay Hill
School for three years. The school was discontinued, then she attended school in Rockdale. She graduated
in 1953. Finishing school she went to work for Alcoa. She met David Wilkins shortly after she went
to work. He worked for Alcoa too. They were married.
Daivd Wilkins was born Mary 19, 1935 in
Hearne. They lived 21 years in Milam Co. near Gause. David and Lois live in Pasadena, Tx now. He
works for a construction company as a truck driver. They have five children one boy J.D. and four girs
Dianah Choates, Jennifer Wilkins, Caron Rahui, and Beverly Nigliazzo, and also 8 grandchildren.
