that date. Harrison Co VA records a survey of Oct 13 1786 in the
name of Henry Fleseher for 112 acares at the mouth of Hacker's
Creek. Dec 1788 appointed Mayor of the Militia in Pendleton Co VA

Henry settled what came to be called Flesherville but son Henry Jr
refused to have anything to do with the new towns name, and it was
then called Preston WV. The city of Weston WV was also established
