 Location: Salem, Connecticut

Cockle Hill is located between Rte. 354 and Rte. 85. The cemetery now stands on private property and is behind locked gates at the entrance to the road. The road used to be a main road to Hartford back in the wagon days. [at time of 1998 survey] There were eleven graves marked with headstones and footstones and no engraving on any.  It looked more like headstone shaped rocks rather than true headstones.

This cemetery was listed as 11 unnamed stones during the survey in 1934 as part of the Hale Collection of Connecticut.
