Brief Overview

From the 1963 Survey:
"Shown on 1869 map as owned by J. Chapman. Across the north end of the house is a kitchen with an old but not very large fireplace, with Dutch oven. The living room is evidently facing the road at the south end. Back of it are two small rooms facing west. The back door opens into the one nearest the kitchen." This house was bought, removed, and rebuilt on Federal Road in Chaplin, CT in 1975.
