Cleaveland Plot is in forefront.with the Richards plot across the street.  The left slab is of Mary Bacon Cleaveland and her daughter, Caroline Cleaveland.  The tall stone on the left is of William Pitt Cleaveland.  The second slab is for Abby Richards Cleaveland.  This slab is almost totally unreadable but we could pick out the name "Abby".

In 1781 Abby, then about 6, was lying sick inside their home when Benedict Arnold's forces attacked the city.  Her father's business was burned, but she was inside the house which was unharmed.
