Patience Hurst was probably born about 1611.  Since her parents married in Amsterdam, Holland in 1608, she was also probably born in Holland. (1)  She married Henry Cobb about 1631 since their first child was born in June 1632 in Plymouth, MA.  Henry Cobb and Patience had 7 children with their son Eleazer born 30 Mar 1648.  Patience was buried five weeks later on 4 May 1648.  (2)  Her widowed husband  remarried in 1649. Her father, James Hurst, wrote his will on 10 Dec 1657 naming the "Cobb" grandchildren: John, Gershom, James, Eleazer, Mary Dunham, Hannah and Patience Cobb. (3)
