Maryland Register of Wills, Charles County. Inventories, pg 96-97  Account of Alexander Hannah.  Michael Williams and Barton Warren endorsed it as creditors.  Humphrey Warren and Thomas Warren approved it as "kin."

The land sale of 1767 from the Boswell brothers to John and Alexander Hannah indicates the Hannah brothers were "of Prince Georges County" at that time.  Two of John Hannah's children, John in 1764 and Walter Warren in 1766, were christened in Prince Georges County.  An Elizabeth Hannan was christened to Thomas Hannan and Mary in the same church, St John's Episcopal Church, on 20 July 1755.  Thomas Hannah with wife Mary may be another son or brother of this Alexander Hannah.  This Thomas "Hanna" appears in the inventory of Basil Waring in Prince Georges County in 1737.

The names James "Hannah" and Peter "Hanna" also appear in various inventories and accounts from 1742 to 1750
