Mrs William Ham (sic) passed away Tues morning at home, corner of Irving av and Locust st, aged 52. Well and favorably known for her many acts of kindness. Member St John's Church and Lady Oakford WVRV. Survived by her husband and the following children: William Jr, Robert, Thomas, James, Mrs Frank Wren, Mrs Thomas Coggans (sic). Funeral Fri from the home, St John's Church.
Sat 21 Apr 1900; Mrs William Hamm was buried yesterday morning. The remains
were viewed in the home on Irving av by hundreds and afterwards taken to St
John's Catholic Church where a high mass was solemnized by Fr Melley.
Interment, Cathedral Cemetery.

William J Hamm, veteran of the Civil War, and one of the best known of the pioneer residents of this city, died at 5:30 yesterday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs Francis J Wren, 1119 S Irving Ave. Survived by two daughters, Mrs Wren and Mrs Thomas Coggins of Buffalo, NY; three sons, William of Scranton and James & Robert of Buffalo.
Mon 25 Mar 1918; Funeral from the home of his daughter, Mrs Francis J Wren, tomorrow, with high mass of requiem in St John's Church, South Scranton. Burial in Cathedral Cemetery.
