OFFICERS

Any person desiring to further the purposes of the MCGS is eligible for membership. There are three classes of membership:

Individual - $15
Family - $20
Society/Institution - $20

Members are entitled to:

Moore County Genealogical Society Newsletter, published 6 times a year
Submission of one free query a year, additional queries published on a space available basis
Yearly membership list, available once a year

Through the newsletter we attempt to answer an often asked question "Was everything burned in the 1889 Courthouse fire?"

Besides queries, the newsletter keeps up to date on family reunions within the county; announces newly published books on Moore County, which are of genealogical value; and announces any upcoming seminars and events. We encourage members to contribute to the newsletter.
