Oscar Randolph
1879 to 1944 December 6, 1944 [email protected] Oscar Randolph, 65, died at his home this morning after a long illiness. He was a long time employee of the Harlan Collieries Coal Company and resident Brookside, Ky. He is survived by his wife Emma and eight children. Mrs Ethel Hicks, Cardinal, Ky, Jake Randolph, Brookside, Ky, Mrs Mary Vowell, Dumbar, Va, Mrs Onie Barr, Brookside, Ky, Mrs Vallera Byrd, Williamsburg, Ky. Three of Mr, Randolphs sons are serving in the US Army,. Jasper and Arthur serving overseas and Eugene stationed in Arkansas. Services were conducted in the family home with Rev Willard Cress officiating. Burial was at the Black Joe Cemetery at Black Joe, Ky.. My notes:
