Henry Collins, 90, of 1937 Bay St., Bristol,
Tenn., died Wednesday, June 28,2000, in Bristol Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Harlan, Ky., a son of the late Jim and Lillie Farley Collins.
He had lived in the Bristol area for the past 45 years. He was a retired
heavy equipment operator for Cooper Construction Co.
Surviving are his wife, Violet Worley Peltier Collins; a daughter,
Judy
Richardson; a son, George Henry Collins; two stepdaughters, Anna Fleenor
and Mary
Bondurant; seven grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; sevenstep-great-grandchildren;
nine step-great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at the graveside
in Mountain
View Cemetery. The Revs. Jennings Dotson and Larry Kimbler will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in
Weaver
Funeral Home.
