Memorial services for Dixie Day, 85, will be at 3 p.m. today, Feb. 24, in 
Johnson Funeral Home.The Rev. Ronnie Estes will officiate. The body will be cremated.
Visitation is from 1 p.m.Mrs. Day died at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2000, in Lafayette.
She was a native of Harlan, Ky., and had lived in Lake Charles since 1951. She was a former member of Twelfth Street Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, Jack Shortt of Moss Bluff; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
