for the benefit of
USGenWeb's Fairfield County web site,
so that I do not have to repeatedly answer the same questions.
I hope the camp's members will keep
me posted if things change.
There has only been one SCV camp in Fairfield County.
It is the General John Bratton Camp, 1816
The 1st Camp Commander was Rev. Carroll POPE.
The 2nd Camp Commander was Buddy WILSON of Camden.
The current Camp Commander is Mike Harden of Columbia
The current Camp Lt. Commander is Billy LEMMON
They have been meeting on 2nd Tuesdays
at the Captain's Galley
on US 321 south side of Winnsboro at 7 PM.
They now meet at Southern Way Cafe in Ridgeway.
They start gathering about 6:00 and order their meals and start
eating before the meeting is called to order at 7 PM.
Rev. Slemp spoke at the 14 November 2000 meeting.
