2016 Genealogy Conference

This year's conference will be on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at the Clarion Hotel, in New Kensington PA.

Our speakers will be:

Matthew T. Hout-Reilly

Professional Genealogist, Conference Planner,
Brochure Designer, Web Designer, Project Management,
Oral History/Interview

"A Chat about Adoption"



Matthew's love of genealogy and history
started as a junior high school project.
The assessment was to create a family tree,
going back as far as you could with the grand-parents, etc.
This project led to Matthew's father Henry Joseph Hout Sr.
to call his Aunt Julia Hout Cleary (1906-2006) in Emporium, Pa.

After the phone call and a trip up to
Emporium, Pennsylvania for a family reunion,
and some research on the Hout Family the lifelong project started.

Matthew's research and documents he has collected
over the years have become to be known as
"The Hout Family Archives"
- it is not your typical "Archives"
or even close to what you think an Archives would consist of.

Cost of TGS Conference 2016

$25: TGS, ACGS & OGS Group Members
$30: Non-Members
$40: New Members* (*Includes 1 yr TGS Membership)

Cost includes conference, breakfast snacks and a hot buffet lunch. Vendor tables will be accessible during all breaks. Door prizes will be awarded at the end of the presentations. (Winner must be present to claim prize.)

Directions:

From Rt. 28 take Exit 14 and follow the signs for New Kensington. Cross over the bridge and turn left at the first light. The Clarion is on the left.
From Rt. 66 turn onto Rt. 366 towards New Kensington. Continue on 366 past Valley High School and go over the bypass following Rt. 366 towards Tarentum. At the third light, turn right, and the Clarion is on the left.
