Grey County GenWeb Ancestral Photo Queries
Who is ... Where are ... Whatever Happened To ......
The Grey County GenWeb has started a collection of online photos for long
lost ancestors who resided in Grey County Ontario, dating back to the 1800's,
through the turn of the century and on to about the WW2 era
If you have old photos where the people need to be identified, such as a class photo or "just who were those folks with my grandparents", and you're hoping that someone will recognize the faces, then please prepare a short outline about them to be listed beside the photo (assuming any info is available).
Helpful information would be what part of Grey County they may be from (i.e. town or township) or the best estimate of the time frame in which the photo was taken. Were the pictures from your father's or mother's side? Family surnames in your ancestry who were known to be from the county might be of help.

2) Would appreciate lower resolution [20k-200k] images. Multi-megabyte scans are hard for a lot of folks still on dial-up to download, although if sent, they will be re-sized to be suitable for an 800x600 screen.
To have a photo posted requires no forms, no programs and no passwords to figure out. Just send the information and scans [or questions, problems, changes] in to me [Gerald Dunnill] in a regular email to:
