FORMER MEAFORD
MAN DIES
MEAFORD EXPRESS (Aug. 1924) - Death came as a relief to Mr. William Robinson, of Owen Sound, on Friday morning, when he passed quietly away at the home of his brother, Mr. Michael Robinson. In his 80th year. Mr. Robinson has been gradually failing for the past two years and has been confined to his bed for the greater part of the time. He was born in County Wexford, Ireland, and came to this country at the age of three with his parents. They settled in St. Vincent township where he spent the early part of his life. At the age of 21 he left the farm and learned the trade of pattern maker at the Georgian Foundry at Meaford. Up until ten years ago he resided in that town and worked at his trade. He was very well known and respected there. Ten years ago he came to live with his brother here.
