DEATH OF MRS. CROTHERS
MEAFORD EXPRESS (1921) - Mary Jane Londry, relict of the late Charles Crothers, passed away at her home early yesterday morning at the advanced age of 87 years. Deceased was only ill a short time, although she had not been in the best of health for about a year when she fell down stairs and suffered a broken arm. The late Mrs. Crothers was the first white child born in St. Vincent and has resided in this locality all her life. Her husband predeceased her some ten years ago. She is survived by one son and one daughter, David, of Meaford and Mrs. Bert Peach, Orillia.
The funeral takes place this afternoon to Lakeview Cemetery. Service at the house at two o'clock.
