LATE E. COOPER
LAID TO REST
Former Hepworth Resident
Who Died at Winnipeg;
Funeral on Wednesday
HEPWORTH, May 30 --- The funeral of the late Ernest Cooper who passed away at the home of his brother in Winnipeg was held from the Anglican Church on Wednesday afternoon. The body arrived on the afternoon train and was taken at once to the church. The service was in charge of the charge of the rector, Rev. O. J. Draper and the beautiful Anglican ritual was used throughout. during his short address the rector spoke very feelingly and conveyed a very comforting message to the bereaved ones. The deceased during his residence here had won the esteem of his fellow townspeople and the floral tributes were evidence of the fact. The pall bearers were six nephews. Messrs. Robert, Willis, Russell and Milton Greig; Harvey Walker and Arthur Cooper, and the remains were laid beside those of his wife in Zion cemetery. Those from outside points attending the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Peter Cooper of Winnipeg; Mr. and Mrs. George Cooper of Colpoy’s and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Cooper of Pike Bay.
