FALL FATAL
FOR FARMER
MEAFORD EXPRESS (1953) - James Breadner, 78, a brother of Mrs. Thomas Perry who left two weeks ago for home in Regina after visiting her daughters, Mrs. George Geig, Meaford, and Mrs. Bruce Myles, Thornbury, died Saturday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Irwin Clarke, Euphrasia township. He fell the previous Monday while working at his farm in Euphrasia.
   Born in Euphrasia Township, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Breadner, pioneers of the township. In 1902 he married Jennie McCullough, also of Euphrasia, who predeceased him in 1952.
   Mr. Breadner was a member of Temple Hill United Church and also an elder of the church.
   Surviving are four daughters, Myrtle, Mrs. Jack McInnis, Euphrasia; Hazel, Mrs. Dave Sullivan, R.R. 5, Chatsworth; Irene, Mrs. Irwin Clark, Euphrasia; and Christina at home; one sister Mrs. Thomas Perry, of Sask.
   The late Mr. Breadner was well known and highly respected throughout the district.
