ENID — Mary Jean Kennedy (Jeanne) was born Sept. 6, 1926, in Tulsa, Okla., to Stephen F. Steed and Cora Affie (Guinn). She was the third of nine children.

Jeanne is survived by one brother, Joe Frank Steed; five children, Patsy King, Stephen Turner, Don Blose, Paula Morgan, Donita Hood and their spouses; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many extended family members.

Jeanne was a charter member of Happy Homemakers Club. She worked at several jobs, but was a career homemaker.

Jeanne passed away Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, in Sunny Lane Cemetery, Del City. Arrangements by Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, Del City.
