Shirley Joan Tidwell McReynolds

McREYNOLDS Shirley Joan Tidwell went to be with her Lord and Savior on Oct. 15, 2002 after a long battle with a failing heart. She was born on Feb. 1, 1931 in Seminole, OK to Edward & Olive Tidwell. Both parents preceded their daughter in death. 

She is survived by Kenneth Lee McReynolds, husband, of the home, whom she married June 30, 1956; daughter, Mrs. Linda Armstrong and husband, Gene of San Antonio, TX; son, Mr. Hugh E. McReynolds & wife, Jan of Harrah, OK; son, Kenneth E. McReynolds of Shawnee, OK and daughter-in-law, Paula McReynolds of OKC; brother, Terry E. Tidwell and wife, Joetta of OKC; 5 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Shirley was preceded in death by 1 sister, Janet "Aleen" Johnson; 2 brothers, Robert Dean Tidwell & James "Allen" Tidwell. Her best friend of 62 years, Mrs. Doris Seal Fletcher, also preceded her. Mother loved family gatherings and talking about our family's history. Shirley at tended Crooked Oak High School and enjoyed the class reunions. She retired from Tinker Air Force Base after 10 years of service. She enjoyed oil painting and riding horses. 

Services are 2:00 pm, Friday, Oct. 18, 2002 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel with burial in Sunny Lane Cemetery. Bill Eisenhour Southeast 5005 S.E. 29 672-1321
